부유하는 것들,2006,1"/
Mural Animation #1 The
Mural Animation project begun naturally to praise and experiment the
beauty of rustic walls behind the faces of the city where development
is rampant. The charcoal drawings are transformed to animations, reacted
to the collected sound-narrative. The air of loneliness, images recalled,
sounds heard, and faces of strangers that have come across from small
and frequent trips are mingled together.
드로잉, 사진, 애니메이션 기법이 결합된 벽화 애니메이션 프로젝트는 개발이 난무하는 도시 이면의 낡은 벽들의 아름다움을 예찬하고
탐험하기 위해 자연스럽게 시작되었다. 목탄 드로잉들은 채집된 사운드 내러티브에 반응하여 영상으로 전환된다. 작고 빈번한 여정에서
나를 감싸던 적막한 공기, 불려나온 이미지, 들었던 소리, 마주쳤던 낯선 얼굴이 함께 섞여들어 간다. 스페이스

선택된 하모니, 2007,3'3"/ The Selected Harmony The animation is one of on-going experiments of association between images and collected sound-narrative. a image of kid, jugle in Laos and artificial garden of the Disney Land are mixed and make an odd harmony. 꽃이 만발, 아가야 울지마,2006,2'40"/ Don't cry baby, flowers everywhere No one could surpass their passion and praise for flowers. Never completely bloomed, their lives were entirely dedicated to their husbands and children. Individuality vanishes and only fanciful dresses can satisfy their desires. 그녀들만큼 꽃을 숭배하는 무리도 없다. 못다핀 그들의 인생은 남편을 위해 자식을 위해 생활을 위해바쳐진다. 개개인은 지워지고 오색빛의 겉옷만이 그들의 욕구를 대변한다. HOLE,
2005,1' Inspired
by a Herman Hesse's novel "Siddartha," it's about an imaginitive
hole in lives flows like a river. Sound resource: a little Vietnamese
toy xylophone. 눈뜬 아침 부터 집에 돌아오는
저녁까지 순간순간 나의 눈동자로 받아들인 상들은 서로 긴밀히 연결되어 하나의 흥미로운 통로를 이룬다. 가파르게, 때론 밋밋하게

ZAZANGMYUN,
2003, 4'24" Thesis
animation from School of
Visual Arts. a short provoking visual poetry about "Zazang-Myun,"
the Korean Chinese black noodle. Its unique black sauce often leads
people to a different personal and cultural experience, which is challenging
sometimes. Also, the animation brings out an interesting audiovisual
experience of Zazang-Myun. 아무리 노력해도 때론 넘을 수
없는 개인적 혹은 문화적 바리어가 있다. 한국식 중국 음식인 짜장면의 검은 소스에 얽힌 흥미로운 시각적, 청각적 체험 혹은
추억.
